Following the support we gave the installation of a new therapy garden at Le Marchant Ward at the PEH in 2017 we were delighted to be able to continue our support this summer with funds from last year’s Mule Loire ride to buy hanging baskets, seeds, plants, herbs, vegetables and tools.
The garden is used by the physio and occupational therapy team to promote recovery in stroke and head injury patients, many who face a long stay in hospital.
The garden has looked lovely over the summer and many patients and their families have enjoyed spending time in the garden and reaping the rewards of their hard work. We look forward to supporting them as their thoughts turn to what they can plant this autumn and winter.
