And we’re off!!
60 rather over-excited Mules and crew met at Government House to finally get going on Mule Loire. Our Patron, The Lieutenant Governor Sir Ian Corder, very kindly agreed to let our merry band start the ride at Government House and set us off.
Three birthdays on this trip – first being Keeley today
A gentle (or not so gentle depending on your view!) roll around Jersey with a pit stop at the Royal Jersey Showground at Ross’ office (thanks Ross!) started in the sun but ended in some rather grotty drizzle. Most people’s aim was to get back to St Helier in time for some of the rugby and food before the boat and then a pretty late arrival at the hotel in Vannes.
All raring to get going to tomorrow though!
