Not sure how these come round so quickly but time for the recce for Mule d’Âne-versaire for next year’s ride. We had to pack a fair bit in to this one with only three days to drive the 60, 80 and 100 mile routes for all seven days, visit all the hotels and restaurants, find lunch stops etc. St Malo – Mont St Michel – Vitre – Vitre loop day – Nantes – Saint Nazaire – Saint Nazaire loop day – Rennes – St Malo.

A big thank you to the recce team – Penny, Ray, Hackers, Kev, Natalie and Sharon. It’s full on but we do also have a lot of fun.  The boat back was cancelled (I feel there is a theme developing with our recces….) so we had a bonus night in St Malo which was obviously spent at Cafe Ouest!
