Tough day of riding directly into a pretty strong headwind but our Intrepid Mules all made it! First mechanical of the trip with a broken spoke…how many men does it take to fix that? Six apparently! Bit more of a gourmet lunch with requests given to the crew as many of which were accommodated as possible including oysters for Shelly!
Stretching?? Smart brothers taking this very seriously!
Running repairs to Stan….apparently if he didn’t have to cycle his knee would be fine!
Pegs!

This stretching lark is catching!
Riggers posing again!
The fast boys! L-R John Brodrick, Malcolm Barnes, Colin Smith, Jim Smart, Dave Smart and Mark Haggarty
Ready for the off
Got the hang of this train thing, flying along today
The Dream Team…Shedful wondering how it can still be 20 miles to lunch…
Table for one at lunch for Shelly…..oysters, red wine (well Ribena), flowers and lotus flower napkins. Can say the support crew don’t do their best to accommodate our Mules!
A very fine year….
Duncan…fine specimen of one of our Mules!
How many men does it take to fix a spoke? Six apparently….
