Pretty miserable start to the day in the pouring rain and showers throughout the day, but the Mules spirit kicked it, they were all fabulous. And it gave us a chance to get the foil blankets out!
As expected the rain brought with it some (thankfully injury free) crashes, broken spokes and chains, and the still unanswered question of how many people does it take to fix a puncture…today it turns out it was four…
After a bizarrely uneventful week the inevitable happened and the boat home has been cancelled which gives us the bonus of a lie-in in the morning but a bit of a scramble to sort out hotels and logisitics.
Secretly everyone is rather pleased particularly when they found out Cafe L’Ouest can take us for dinner – so we get our traditional tour finish!
