Some of the serious cyclists were concerned about last night’s security arrangements for their precious bikes but not as horrified as Ray’s group were when they realised their bikes hadn’t been nicked!

A new 100 mile group was formed – four of whom, Linda, Jayne, Paula and Ian, had never ridden that far before, to whom chapeau! – and were certainties for team of the day until the point they recklessly abandoned a team member with a puncture. Luckily in true OF&D style team ‘temporarily being led by Mark’ came to the rescue of the stricken Andrew!

Another fabulous day other than a couple of groups attempting to ride on the motorway, some dodgy front brakes and the organiser may have inadvertently sent the 100 milers to a non existent lunch stop…apparently the inter Marché car park was a perfect alternative!
